Palm Beach

  • Location: South Bay, US 27 just north of town.
  • Waterway: Lake Okeechobee

  • Location: Belle Glade Recreation Area,Torry Island, CR 717 North from Bell Glade. Cross Rim Canal.
  • Waterway: Lake Okeechobee

  • Location: Paul Rardin Park, SR 715 between Belle Glade and Pahokee.
  • Waterway: Lake Okeechobee

  • Location: Pahokee Marina and Campground, Pahokee Fl.
  • Waterway: Lake Okeechobee, open water.

  • Location: Canal Point Lions Club Park at the intersection of US 441 & US 98
  • Waterway: Lake Okeechobee, open water.

  • Location: Oglethorpe Rd. east of airport. From Belvedere Rd, just east of I-95, turn south on Tuxedo Ave. then take a right at the sheriff's motor pool.
  • Waterway: Palm Beach Canal all the way to Lake Okeechobee.

  • Location: John Prince Park, 6th Ave S. just west of I-95.
  • Waterway: Lake Osborne

  • Location: Lake Ida West Park. Exit I 95 at Atlantic Blvd. (Delray Bch.), go west to Congress Ave., north to Lake Ida Rd. and back east under I 95 to the park.
  • Waterway: Lake Ida

  • Location: Loxahatchee Recreation Area, from US 441 just north of the Broward County line, go west on FL 827 about 6 miles to the ramp.

Broward

  • Location: Deerfield City Park , Piomrrt Park, Take Hillsboro Blvd. west from US-1 then NE 5 or 6 Ave north to the park.
  • Waterway: Hillsboro Canal, ICW, Hillsboro Inlet.

  • Location: Alsdorf Park, at NE 14th St. Causeway, Pompano Beach
  • Waterway: ICW

  • Location: George English Park at Sunrise Blvd. & Bayview Drive.
  • Waterway: Middle River near the ICW.

  • Location: Cherry Creek Ramp, Oakland Park, from Oakland Park Blvd, just east of Dixie Hwy., take NE 12 Terr. south to the end.
  • Waterway: North Fork of the Middle River.

  • Location: Colohatchee Park, Wilton Manners, from Oakland Park Blvd. take NE 16 Ave south (becomes NE 15 Ave). Ramp is just north and east of bridge.
  • Waterway: South Fork of Middle River.

  • Location: SE 15 Street. Ft Lauderdale. From the 17 St. Causeway take Cordova Rd. north, and SE 15 St. east. The ramps are on the south side just before the Marina.
  • Waterway: Seminole River, near the ICW and just north of Port Everglades.

  • Location: Cooley's Landing at Sailboat Bend, SW 7th Ave., just south of Las Olas Blvd. and south-west of the Performing Arts Centre in downtown Ft. Lauderdale.
  • Waterway: New River

  • Location: Robert E. Houston Park, 901 NE 3rd Street, Dania (east side of Harbour Towne Marina)
  • Waterway: Dania Cut-Off Canal near ICW.

  • Location: S.S. Holland Park, Hollywood. From US-1 take Johnson St. east to the end.
  • Waterway: West Lake and the ICW

  • Location: North Lake, Hollywood. From Hollywood Blvd. take N. 8th Ave. north to Polk St. The ramps are on the south shore of North Lake
  • Waterway: ICW

  • Location: Coconut Creek, From Turnpike go west on Coconut Creek Pkwy.and then south on NW 43 Ave to NW 9 St. The park will be on your left. 
  • Waterway: Pompano Canal (C-14)

  • Location: Margate, Winfield Blvd. at NW 63 Ave. Just west of SR-441 and north of Copans Rd.
  • Waterway: Pompano Canal (C-14)

  • Location: Margate, From SR 441, just south of Coconut Creek Parkway, take Margate Blvd. west to W. River Dr. Turn right and you are at the ramp.
  • Waterway: Pompano Canal (C-14)

  • Location: Margate, Atlantic Blvd., south on Rock Island Road, east at NW 1st Street right before the bridge.
  • Waterway: Pompano Canal (C-14)

  • Location: Veterans Memorial Park, Tamarac, from Atlantic Blvd., south on University to Southgate Blvd. and west to park at south side of bridge.
  • Waterway: Pompano Canal (C-14)

  • Location: Riverside Park, Coral Springs, from Atlantic Blvd. go south on NW 100 Ave. (Coral Ridge Dr./Nob Hill Rd.) to just NE of the bridge.
  • Waterway: Pompano Canal (C-14)

  • Location: SR 84 (I-595) at Davie Rd. SR 84 is now the access road for I-595. The ramp is on the south bank of the canal and just west of Davie Rd.
  • Waterway: North New River (G-19)

  • Location: Markham Park, SR 84 (I-595) at Weston Road
  • Waterway: North New River (G-19)

  • Location: Markham Park, SR 84 (I-595) at Weston Road
  • Waterway: C-42

  • Location: US 27 between Alligator Alley and the Palm Beach County line.
  • Waterway: L-38E & L-38W

  • Location: Alligator Alley (I-75) west of US 27 and east of the Seminole Reservation.
  • Waterway: Water Conservation Area 3

Dade

Many of the saltwater ramps are located at Metro-Dade Park's Full-Service Marinas.

  • Location: Haulover Park, AIA between Sunny Isles and Bal Harbour.

  • Location: Pelican Harbor Marina, South side of 79 St Causeway in the middle of the Intercostal waterway.
  • Waterway: ICW between Haulover and Government Cut.
  • Location: Miami, Morningside Park, From Biscayne Blvd. (US1) take NE 55 Terr. east to the bay and then drive south into the park.
  • Waterway: Biscayne Bay.
  • Condition: Good, 1 ramp, about four wide, a little slippery and a little short at low tide, no dock, checked 01/99.
  • Notes: OK parking, questionable security.
  • GPS: MRNGSD, 25.82337, 080.17832

  • Location: Miami Beach, Sunset Harbor Marina, From Alton Rd. (between Julia Tuttle and Venetian Causeways) go west on 20 St. or Dade Blvd. to Purdy Ave. and go to the North end of the marina/park.
  • Waterway: Biscayne Bay, Government Cut

  • Location: Watson Park/Watson Island. MacArthur Causeway (41), N. side.
  • Waterway: Biscayne Bay, Government Cut

  • Location: Crandon Park Marina, Take Rickenbacker Causeway to Key Biscayne. Located at Bear Cut Bridge, third from the mainland.
  • Waterway: Biscayne Bay & Atlantic Ocean

  • Location: The refurbished USCG Hanger, Bayshore Dr., Coconut Grove.
  • Waterway: Biscayne Bay

  • Location: Dinner Key Marina, Coconut Grove.
  • Waterway: Biscayne Bay

  • Location: Mathison Hammock Park. South of N. Kendall Dr. on Old Cutler Creek Rd.
  • Waterway: South Biscayne Bay

  • Location: Black Point Park, from Fla. Turnpike take Allapattah Rd. north to SW 248th St., then east to park entrance.
  • Waterway: South Biscayne Bay

  • Location: Homestead Bayfront Park, from US1 take SW 328th St. east to park.
  • Waterway: South Biscayne Bay

  • Location: Krome Ave., north of Tamiami Trail, US 41
  • Waterway: L-30, the Everglades

  • Location: Tamiami Trail, US 41, west of Krome Ave.
  • Waterway: Taimiami Canal/L-29, WCA 3/L-67C, the Everglades

  • Location: US 441 (SR 7) south of County Line Road, North Miami Beach (On the east side or 441, South of NW 202 Terr. and on the north bank of the canal.)
  • Waterway: Snake Creek (C-9)

  • Location: NW South River Drive across from the Medley Public Works & Utility Dept. From US 27, just east of the Turnpike Extension, turn south on NW 116 Way and then East on NW South River Drive.
  • Waterway: Miami Canal (C-6)

  • Location: Quail Ave., Miami Springs. From US 27, east of the Turnpike Extension, turn south on Milander Blvd. (W. 12 Ave), east on N. Royal Poinciana Blvd. and north on Quail Ave. The ramp is on the south bank of the canal.
  • Waterway: Miami Canal (C-6)

  • Location: Maceo Park, Miami. From the Dolphin Expressway (836), turn South on Red Road (NW 57 Ave.), then East on NW 7 St. to NW 51 Ave., turn left into the park.
  • Waterway: Miami Airport Lakes (C-4)

  • Location: From Kendal Dr. take SW 99 Ct. North to Snapper Creek Dr. N., east after the bridge, Coral Gables
  • Waterway: Snapper Creek Canal (C-2)

  • Location: Cutler Ridge From SW 216 St (Hanlin Mill Rd.) just east of the Turnpike Ext., turn south on SW 102 Ave. south-west on Old Cutler Rd. for about 50 yds., then east on SW 224 Street. The road turns south on SW 97th Ave for about 1 mile until you cross the canal. Take the dirt road on the south side of the canal back west to the ramp.
  • Waterway: Black Creek (C-1)

  • Location: Take Eureka Dr. (SW 184 St.) West from US-1 to Lindgrem Rd. (SW 137 Ave.). The ramp is on the SE corner of the intersection.
  • Waterway: Black Creek (C-1)

  • Location: Goulds, East of Monkey Jungle. From Dixie Hwy. (US 1) go west on SW 216 St. (Hanlin Mill Dr.) approx. 1.5 miles to the second bridge. The ramp is on the east bank, south of the road.
  • Waterway: Princeton Canal (C-102)

  • Location: Cutler Ridge. From Krome Ave. go west on SW 192 St (Grossman Farm Rd.) approx. 1.5 miles. Ramp is on the south bank of the canal, north of the road.
  • Waterway: Princeton Canal (C-101) & L-31.

  • Location: The Falls Shopping Mall. From US 1 go west on SW 136 St. then south over the canal on SW 92 Ave. Come back east approx. 1/4 mile on the dirt road on the south side of the canal to the SFWMD structure.
  • Waterway: C-100C

  • Location: From US-1, just south of the end of the Turnpike in Florida City, take 334 St. west and follow the signs to Everglades National Park. The ramp is just before the park enterance on the North side of the road.
  • Waterway: L-31W

Top - - Palm Bch. - Broward - Dade - Monroe

Monroe County

  • Location: Everglades National Park, Everglades/Chokoloskee. Alligator Alley (I-75) or Tamiami Trail (US 41) east, then SR 29 south to the Gulf.
  • Waterway: Gulf of Mexico, & 10,000 Islands
  • Port of the Islands is on US41 west of SR29. It is a little outside my area, but is used to access the 10,000 Islands area. They have a single ramp that is open to the public for a fee.

  • Location: Everglades National Park, Flamingo Visitor Centre. From the junction of the Turnpike Ext. and US-1 at Florida City, take SR 9336 south-west to Flamingo.
  • Waterway: 2 ramps, one to Florida Bay & Cape Sable (outside) and one to Whitewater Bay & Buttonwood Canal (inside).

  • Location: Card Sound Road has two boatramps. The first is a private ramp at Alabama Jack's and the second is just past the toll plaza before the bridge.
  • Waterway: Bayside
  • Location: US1, MM-111, Little Blackwater Sound Park
  • Waterway: Bayside

  • Location: MM-104 Caribbean Club
  • Waterway: Bayside

  • Location: MM-92, Harry Harris County Park, Take Burton Dr. to end, park entrance is on Beach Rd.
  • Waterway: Oceanside

  • Location: MM-79, Indian Key Fill Boat Ramp
  • Waterway: Bayside and Ocean via Hawk Channel

  • Location: MM-53, Marathon Boat Ramp
  • Waterway: Bayside, Vaca Cut to Ocean.

  • Location: MM-51, North on Aviation Blvd. at west end of Airport. Go north and east to corner of Harbor Dr.
  • Waterway: Bayside

  • Location: MM-49, North on 33 St., behind Marathon Yacht Club
  • Waterway: Bayside

  • Location: MM-39, Little Duck Key
  • Waterway: Bayside or Ocean, West end of 7 Mile Bridge.

  • Location: MM-37 Bahia Honda State Rec. Area
  • Waterway: Oceanside and Bayside

    • Location: MM-34, Spanish Harbor Wayside Park, on West Summerland Key
    • Waterway: Bayside

    • Location: MM-30, Big Pine Key, North on Key Deer Blvd, east on Big Pine St., north on Koehn Ave., ramp is straight off the end of the road.
    • Waterway: Bayside

    • Location: MM-28, Little Torch Key, North on old SR 4A
    • Waterway: Oceanside & Bayside (Newfound Harbor Channel thru canals)

    • Location: MM-11, Shark Key
    • Waterway: Oceanside

    • Location: MM-6, Stock Island
    • Waterway: Oceanside

    • Location: Key West, A1A, west end of Smather's Beach
    • Waterway: Ocean
